Monitoring and Evaluation RUDEP operates a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system that involves:

• A functional Management Information System (MIS) that is updated monthly that provides easy access to data to generate reports and charts

• Ad hoc evaluation studies that assess the quality and effectiveness of various aspects of RUDEP’s work (e.g. evaluation of impact of an infrastructure project, technology adoption, VSCF issues, etc)

• A Commune M&E system that supports the Commune People’s Committees to monitor and manage the implementation of RUDEP activities in each commune
  

The Commune M&E system is being modified and expanded with Integrated Commune Development Planning (Integrated CDP). The Commune M&E system will ultimately serve as format for the monitoring of all activities and projects implemented under Commune Plans
